WELCOME TO THE 2019-20 HOCKEY SEASON!

The 2019-20 Midget AAA season is set to begin on Friday, October 4 with two games leading off the weekend! Edmonton takes on Red Deer and Lloydminster heads to St. Albert. Calgary and the Rocky Mountain Raiders will begin their season on Saturday. HOCKEY ALBERTA ANNOUNCES TEAM ALBERTA U18 FEMALE ROSTER

Hockey Alberta has announced the Team Alberta roster for the 2019 U18 Female team that will represent the province at the 2019 National Women’s U18 Championships in Morden and Winkler, MB.


WHAT’S HAPPENING IN THE AFHL THIS SEASON?

– IIHF World Girls Ice Hockey Weekend: October 4-6

– Midget Elite Showcase: October 18-20

– Canadian Women’s National U18 Championships: November 5-9

– Alberta Winter Games Regional Camps: November 29 – December 1

– Female Hockey Day: January 25, 2020

– Bantam Elite Showcase: February 7-9, 2020

– Alberta Winter Games: February 14-17, 2020


REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 2020 ALBERTA WINTER GAMES REGIONAL CAMPS

Registration is now open for 2005 & 2006-born female athletes to take part in regional selection camps for the 2020 Alberta Winter Games. The 2020 Alberta Winter Games run February 14-17 in Airdrie. INFO > | FEMALE REGISTRATION >


COACH OF THE MONTH IS BACK FOR THE 2019-20 SEASON

One coach will be selected each month from October through March and will receive a coaching package valued at over $500, sponsored by Players Bench Team Apparel. Nominations are now open! NOMINATION FORM >
