The Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL) scholarship program is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 season.
The AFHL scholarship program provides four $1,500 scholarships for:
- Graduating U18 AAA players continuing onto post-secondary.
- Graduating U18 AA players continuing onto post-secondary.
- Current female officials, either a graduating U18 player within the AFHL or a female official currently attending post-secondary and officiating female hockey in Alberta.
- Current female coaches, either a graduating U18 player within the AFHL or a female coach currently attending post-secondary and coaching female hockey within Alberta.
Recipients will be identified by the Elite Female Hockey Committee. The committee will select recipients who are upstanding individuals with a high academic achievement, who are strong contributors to their hockey team and community.
Applications are to be submitted to Kendall Newell, no later than April 1.
