The Alberta Female Hockey League is preparing to crown the U18AA provincial champions this weekend in Leduc.
The AFHL event is one of nine tournaments ongoing this weekend in the Hockey Alberta Provincial Championship, presented by ATB.
The Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs and Calgary Fire Red open the tournament at 11:15 am on Thursday, March 30. The tournament also feature Edmonton Pandas, North Central Impact and St. Albert Sharks.
Round robin play will determine the teams lacing them up for the championship game on Sunday.
