RED DEER – Registration is now open for Hockey Alberta’s 2022 Future Coaches Program.
Hockey Alberta’s Future Coaches program educates U18 level male and female hockey players in the areas of coaching, skill instruction and leadership.
Through this interactive virtual or in-person program, athletes are introduced to advanced coaching techniques, learn skill development to better their game, and gain leadership skills and confidence to join a team in a support coaching role.
Two options are available for eligible U18 players this year, a virtual session taking place April 23-24, and an in-person session taking place at the Don Hartman Northeast Sportsplex in Calgary April 29-30.
Delegates in the Future Coaches program are provided with:
- Mentoring through online sessions that include leadership, team building and hockey sense
- Hockey Alberta professional development credit
- Opportunities to learn from Hockey Alberta’s top skill instructors and facilitators
- Coaching Starter Kit
